  • The Communications Committee is responsible for sharing all important information with homeowners, which includes but is not limited to: emails, HOA newsletters, special notices, annual meeting announcements, as well as content, access and maintenance of the HOA website and the Lea Manor Facebook page.

  • The HOA’s Bylaws Committee is responsible for making sure the HOA’s governing rules (Bylaws) are current, clear and legally compliant. They review and update, propose new and necessary changes, monitor changing state and local laws that affect them, and ensure that the HOA functions within the original purpose and spirit of those bylaws.

  • Our Finance Committee is responsible for directing all duties of the HOA treasury, ensuring proper accounting, completing the annual budget, ensuring legal compliance, establishing sound risk management, evaluating insurance coverage and policies, and engaging with a CPA to perform audits. They also publish the annual association directory.

  • The grounds and streets committee is responsible for maintaining the appearance of our common areas and managing our roads. This includes overseeing the care and contract work for the neighborhood entrances (such as weeding, planting, and watering), coordinating the installation of signs and seasonal decorations, arranging for the annual dumpster day, and managing all issues and activities related to the streets and roads within the community.

  • Our Nominating Committee consists of 3 board members appointed by the president and is responsible for finding and recommending qualified homeowners to run for each elective position that is vacant or about to expire. They also make sure these candidates are a good fit for the community's values and will occasionally reach out to residents to solicit volunteers for various community needs.

  • The Social Committee is responsible for planning community events that bring neighbors together, with a focus on organizing a minimum of two large annual events, including the yearly HOA meeting and social gathering. They also have the role of encouraging, supporting, or hosting smaller, casual events and activities throughout the neighborhood all year long.

  • The Welcome Committee's role is to ensure all new residents feel welcomed and informed when they move into Lea Manor. This involves personally greeting new neighbors, delivering a welcome packet containing essential neighborhood information, answering their initial questions about the community, and encouraging them to get involved in HOA activities.

Our HOA Committees

Lea Manor HOA committees are led by Board members, but rely on the enthusiasm and skills of other member residents. Participation is open to any homeowner who wishes to serve. Most committees meet quarterly, while others convene only as needed.

We are currently seeking volunteers for the 2026 Bylaws, Finance, Grounds & Streets, and Social committees. (email: lea_manor_hoa@outlook.com)
