Progress: 13 of 15 reported potholes are fixed; 2 are under evaluation by the Public Improvements Advisory Committee (PIAC).
The Board is pursuing neighborhood repaving through KCMO, following a kickoff request at the August PIAC meeting, which several Board members attended at which LMHA was represented in a presentation by Larry Hair.

Eligibility: Homes must be in good HOA standing with dues up to date. “Voting committee” members are excluded during their service, and previous winners must wait 12 months to qualify again.
Judging Criteria (100-Point Scale):
- Curb Appeal (25 pts): Clean driveway, sidewalks, and entryway.
- Lawn Maintenance (20 pts): Mowed, edged, healthy lawn with minimal weeds.
- Landscaping (20 pts): Trimmed trees/shrubs, maintained beds, and fresh mulch.
- Exterior Condition (20 pts): Well-maintained paint, siding, roof, and fences.
- BONUS! Neighborhood Contribution (15 pts): Seasonal decorations and other enhancements that make our neighborhood more fun or appealing.
